When: Feb 9th 1-2pm
Where: Chrystal Macmillan Building, 6th floor common room
We would be delighted for all those who are interested to join us for a screening of LIVED's first, documentary, Learning to Swim, which engages with the lived experiences of children displaced by the Syrian civil war, in and around the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. It was created by a student-led initiative originating from the University of Edinburgh.
We welcome the thoughts and feedback of all staff and students toward the film, particularly as we are moving forward to create another documentary on displaced youth in Colombia this summer.
We will also be discussing future plans for educational screenings of the existing film within secondary schools throughout the Edinburgh area, and would welcome any thoughts on this. If you are unable to attend the screening but would like to share any email contacts that may be helpful for setting up screenings within schools, then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you and we hope to see you on the 9th!
